TOWN HALL MEETINGS SUCCESSFULLY HELD!

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our Information Dissemination Meetings held in Kitwe, Ndola, and Kabwe, where we engaged with over 200 women in business on matters of Financial Inclusion.

These meetings were part of our Copperbelt and Central Province outreach campaign, designed to raise awareness about the Movable Collateral Registry and the Women’s Guide to Unlocking Finance in Zambia.

The events brought together women entrepreneurs, ZFAWIB chapter members, and key stakeholders including the Bank of Zambia, Zanaco Bank, and PACRA for informative and interactive sessions focused on expanding women’s access to finance.

Objectives of the Meetings:

• Raise awareness on alternative financing options for women entrepreneurs

• Educate women on how the Movable Collateral Registry works

• Promote financial responsibility through good credit culture

Key Outcomes:

• Participants learned how to register movable assets as collateral

• Improved understanding of how creditworthiness boosts access to finance

• Explored practical tools and strategies outlined in the Women’s Guide to Unlocking Finance

Financial inclusion is more than access, it’s about empowerment, opportunity, and growth. These sessions helped demystify the financial system and brought critical tools closer to the women driving Zambia’s economy forward.

A heartfelt thank you to all our chapter members, partners, and stakeholders who made this outreach a success.
